5 months ago • 0 notesSorry for not updating in a few weeks. I’ve had to go to 4 different weddings in 4 different states the last 2 weekends. However, at the last Sangeet I attended, I ran into Rani from Mississippi (who won a copy of the Bhangra Beats DVD during my Jus Punjabi interview). Who would have thought?? Having only spoken to her over the phone , it was great meeting Rani and her 2 daughters in person, and I hope to continue to meet other Bhangra Beats fans from around the country and the world.

Please contact me if you are interested in joining the class as space is limited.

This week’s Bhangra Beats class with the girls from SELF magazine was amazing. These girls came prepared to dance, workout, and enjoy the cultural aspect of Bhangra Beats. Each and every one of them picked up the moves really quickly and kept asking for more. They are by far the most in-shape and energetic group I have ever taught. Thanks to Meaghan Murphy (Fitness Director of SELF), Jen O’Neill (Editor), Liz Miersch, Amy Gallo, Cristina Tudino, Natalie Hawwa, Abbi Libers for a great class.
I had such a blast girls and I hope to see you guys again soon!
6 months ago • 0 notesHere is a recent e-mail I received from Anisha, “I just wanted to say thank you for being in the DC area so much, and I hope you continue to give classes here because I really want to take some in the near future! I have schedule conflicts for some of your upcoming classes, so I can’t take them, but I do plan to get some friends together and attend future ones that you’ll hopefully have again here in DC - so please don’t stop giving classes here in DC! :)”
For those of you who may have similar concerns, don’t worry I’m not going away anytime soon. Please feel free to reach out to me if you do have questions about where my current DC Bhangra Beats classes are being offered.
